Updated March 2019 Science! She blinded me with science! “Science and science fiction are essentially the same…they’re both the same,” says Star Trek’s William Shatner. At Colorado International SciFi & Fantasy Film Festival #CISFFF 2019, we welcome both documentary & dramatic projects, both “realistic” and imaginative/fantastical perspectives. We welcome screenplays, art/photos, songs & music videos. Submit now!
“When Dungeons & Dragons opened up a contest with Adobe Photoshop CC to have fans create the art for a monster lurking in the depths of their new campaign, ‘Dungeon of the Mad Mage,’ nobody knew what The Terror of Undermountain was going to look like. With dozens of prepackaged monster parts and backgrounds, the contest allowed plenty of artists to embrace their inner Frankenstein.” Read more, SYFY Wire.

“Murky water oozes down the sides of a dark, cold tunnel. BOOM…BOOM…BOOM…you hear it before you see it. Long nails scratch the side of a wall as a creature covered in milky-translucent skin turns the corner. Behold, the Terror of Undermountain! …Although Undermountain is only big enough for one terrifying monster, we were nonetheless very impressed by these 10 frightening creations who make up the contest’s honorable mentions.” Read more.
At the Colorado International SciFi & Fantasy Film Festival, we’re big fans of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps. At our three annual film festivals, we’re interested in showcasing dramatic stories as well as documentaries that explore evolving photographic technologies, including virtual reality, gaming, SFX, green screen, and lens & camera technologies. We also like complicated time travel stories along the lines of Primer (2004), Looper (2012) and Timecrimes (2007). We love exploring dystopian neo noir worlds like Blade Runner 2049 (2017) where technological advances in robotics and artificial intelligence threaten to destroy the very fabric of humanity and the universe.
Our new membership organization & learned society, AIAFilmmakers is open to activist filmmakers, musicians, writers and everyone who loves film and wishes to support the creative arts. Have a listen to our recent KGNU Metro radio interviews with the lovely and talented Beverly Grant and also last year, Shareef Aleem. Learn more, Infinite Perimeter Films.
